The lifeblood of all non-profit organizations is funding that ensures the programs and operations of the foundation. Organized as a 501 (c) 3 public charity in 2002, The Rick Chace Foundation (TRCF) was established with a $150,000 gift made by Chace Productions. This initial funding allowed TRCF to establish its role as the voice for the history, art and technology of motion picture sound. TRCF received permanent non-profit status in 2007.
Among the foundation’s accomplishments are its scholarship program with the Association of Moving Image Archives, the production of the Century of Sound educational lectures on the history of sound in motion pictures and accepting a founding member role for the Academy Museum of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In order to ensure the continuation of these important initiatives TRCF relies on the generosity of corporate sponsors, industry colleagues, friends and family. We would like to encourage your support for our efforts. To make a tax-deductible donation, please download the donation form and mail it to the address on the card.
